Six Months

We are somewhat unpacked (which truthfully is how we'll probably be the whole time we're here...I loathe unpacking) so now I can sit down for five minutes and do an update on our little man. Here's just a few things we don't want to forget about Austie boy:

  • He is still such a trooper. We spent almost two months on the go. Besides not sleeping too spectacularly at night he was a real gem. That boy just goes with the flow.
Here he is going with the flow during one of the umpteenth "championship" basketball games. Does it really have to be the best out of seven?!
This is how Dad watches the baby.
  • He loves to bang with his hand on anything and everything. He even bangs away while he is half asleep and nursing sometimes.
  • The boy has found his voice. He now babbles and squeals all the time. And no one can make him laugh like his brother and sister can. He thinks they're the coolest.
  • He went through a phase where he chewed on his hands and arms with a passion. He would put his chubby wrist in his mouth and gnaw away shaking his head from side to side.
  • He tried his first foods: banana and avocado. He was not a fan.
  • His hair is thickening up and making him look so grown up.
  • We were given a jumperoo and Austin loves it. He just bounces away happy as can be.

He discovered his lower lip and spent a week with it always sucked in.

This boy....is just the cutest.
