I don't know why it is so hard for me that Austin is ten, but I just wasn't ready for it. This sweet boy is such a delight and he keeps changing faster than I would like, but I love seeing how he has grown.
1. What do you like most about yourself?
I'm a hard worker.
Austin loves doing projects outside, but he has a problem staying away from poison ivy. Luckily his yearly exposure wasn't as bad this year because we got him a steroid shot right away.
2. What do you think your future job will be?
NASA Engineer (Space is still his favorite and he loves correcting me on everything I don't know)
3. What do you love to eat?
Chet's brains (he was taking this interview very seriously). He finally decided he also loves ice cream.
4. How do you like to spend your time?
Playing with Chet in our room.

Basketball

Terron and Leo
7. Who is someone you look up to?
Dad because he's strong and hard working.
8. What makes you sad?
When people change rules to win games.
9. What is your favorite outfit to wear?
Shorts and a sports jacket. (Austin really wanted a sports jacket for his birthday or Christmas and was so excited to get one)

Chet
11. What makes you feel proud?
When I beat Chet in games.
12. What makes you happy?
When I beat Chet in games (Chet was present for the interview, if you couldn't tell by now) or when I make a basket in basketball or a goal in soccer.
13. Which of your nicknames do you like the most?
OOsti-Poosti (Not true...at least I hope not)
14. What's the best thing that's happened to you lately?
Learning how to ride my ripstick and finding out I'm point guard.
15. What do you do when you feel sad?
Go in my room, turn off the lights and hide under my covers.
16. What's your favorite thing to do with Mom?
Make Food.
17. What's your favorite thing to do with Dad?
Play sports or games
18. What's your favorite thing to do with Mariah?
Have her read to me
19. What's your favorite thing to do with Chet?
Spend time with him.
These two are so fun together. I can often hear them laughing in their room at night and it makes me so happy.
20. What's your favorite thing to do with Eliza?
Scare her. (Yeah...he often fits the stereotypical role of big brother too well with Eliza)
21. What's your favorite thing to do with Vivi?
I like to help her build magnatiles creations.

Be a monster and chase him around.

A NASA engineer

Dark blue with a slight tint of green.
Austin likes to mess with my camera and has discovered all kinds of different things to do.
He loves climbing trees
The kids always fight about who is Josie's favorite, but we all secretly know it's Austin. No one is more patient with her and she just loves him so much.
Once in the night Chet woke up to Austin scratching his head and said, "What are you doing?" To which Austin sleepily replied, "I thought you were Josie." We had a good laugh about that.
Austin likes helping me make food in the kitchen,
And he's always up for a good game.
Austin is the peace in the family, he is quiet, stubborn, and asks all the right questions. He's always up to try something new and works hard to keep up with his older brother and sister. We love this boy so very much and are excited for this next year of growth.
